We are seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to manage our 13 bed inpatient hospice unit in Grand Junction, CO.
The position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of clinical care and psychosocial support for the patients and families admitted to the center. Responsible for supervising all patient care staff including, RNs, CNAs, Social Workers and Chaplains.
This Leader will thrive in a fast pace environment with lots of variety and able to adjust to change. Must be a strategic, big picture thinker with focus tactical aspects of work. Will set and achieve specific standards for self and others with an emphasis on schedule and quality. Able to make independent and calculated decisions. Requires a lively incisive communicator who can influence others while being firm, direct and self-assured. Able to delegate routine detail work but will follow up closely and critically for standards.

Education, training, experience:
Requirements: A Bachelors in Nursing Degree required. (Master’s degree in nursing or management preferred.) Previous management experience in a related health care organization. Valid Colorado Nursing License.
